Davon, if you’re reading this. Ditch the wife!!! She didn’t support you 100% in your decision. She was ready to leave you if you didn’t win. Watch the video!!!!
Sunday, January 4th 2009 at 8:35 pm
Well, then his supporters are crazy because they were telling him “NO DEAL!” to this offer because he still had the $400K and $1M cases left in play(but they were in cases 3 and 5, respectively). His timing was PERFECT, because he had a 100% risk of reducing the offer and missing out on meeting Kobe Bryant in person!!
Sunday, January 4th 2009 at 8:35 pm
If you didnt pick Kobe you would be crazy as hell…
Sunday, January 4th 2009 at 8:35 pm
man i will choose kobe to…thats a ones in a life time expirience,…
Sunday, January 4th 2009 at 8:35 pm
She was annoyed that he left for a reason: He quit because he wanted to pay off her house, which is certainly a good reason by itself, but when the wife herself disagrees, that is clearly not a correct reason.
Nothing is ever greedy when even at worst, you get what you came for (and the offer is not above book!) If 1M had gone, the offer would still be everything.
Imagine Ritchie Bell with a $200,000 net. Whatever you call Ritchie’s decision, it would never be greedy with a 200K backup.
Sunday, January 4th 2009 at 8:35 pm
man.. i’d buy a new wife.. hahaha.. and i’m gonna make sure that she’s a kobe fan!!
Sunday, January 4th 2009 at 8:35 pm
lmao that is the easiest choice ever. I’d do it even without the money.
Sunday, January 4th 2009 at 8:35 pm
$383,000 is 17 million PHP here in Philippines

His stupid gready wife should not get a cent. She was ready to leave the dude cause he won almost 400,000 instead of 1,000,000

If Davon is happy with his 388K package, fine. If it’s an OPW, fine. I love OPWs. But to make a decision for the same reasons that the bench is saying the opposite is just setting yourself up for FAIL.
However, beating the 263-game Detroit Lions record of a Deal decision against a No Deal bench (Donato, Katie, etc.) gets my acclaim any day.
Sunday, January 4th 2009 at 8:35 pm
I do have to point out that however good Davon’s timing was, his reasoning was completely off, and I would have been perfectly ready to flame if the 1,000 was opened next.
Despite the bench saying No, No, No, he says that the house is paid for, he wants Kobe’s shoes, and he wants to go to Hawaii. The house, shoes, and Hawaii will be paid for even if the 1M is gone, and the people who want the shoes, Hawaii, and the house all say No Deal. So you can’t speak for them by saying Deal.
